How about Amtrak?
Actually, I was afraid of this long trip by train since I hate everyday train riding for just 12 minutes.As the result, Amtrak trip is not so bad but good. Its seat is larger and comfortable than the business class one of a airplane.and the train is not crowded to get two seats for me. Besides 'SHASOU' is very important! Basically,the scene from window is not so dynamic. Field, forrest, houses, sometimes large buildings. However, it is much more attractive than ones from airplane's window!I enjoyed the scene ,read books, slept, talked a little with other passenges and finally found to stay at New York Penn. Station. 36-hours train trip was felt not so long.
